Router 2.4GHz WiFi Settings.

1. Please follow the text below to set up 2.4G Wifi

1）Set the SSID and password of 2.4G WiFi separately instead of the smart connection of 2.4G and 5G (named differently from 5G)

2）Wireless mode: set to 802.11 n only (Or 802.11 g/n, 802.11 b/g/n, 802.11 g/n/ac, 802.11 b/g/n/ac)

3）Channel: set to 11

Besides, our smart plug is not compatible with some of the Wifi 6 routers, like TP-Link Deco, and Netgear Orbi series.

2. Then reset the smart plug to connect to the network. Reset the socket: Press and hold the socket for 5-8 seconds when the socket is powered on. Do not release your hand until the socket light goes out and lights up again.

3. Before purchasing a smart plug, please make sure that your computer motherboard BIOS setting supports AC Power Recovery (AC Recovery, Restore AC Power Loss, or AC Back), that is, the system will automatically start after the computer is powered on, thereby realizing the remote boot function.

If you are not sure whether the motherboard BIOS supports the “AC Recovery, Restore AC Power Loss or AC Back” function, please refer to the following instructions to enter the BIOS settings to check, or contact the motherboard manufacturer directly to confirm. (Most laptops do not support it)

Turn on the power recovery function in the computer BIOS: （Restore AC Power Loss/AC Recovery/AC BACK）

After turning on the computer, after the image appears, immediately click the “Delete” “F2“ or “F12“ key to enter the BIOS setup utility.
