Work with RF devices? Are there any limitations?

BroadLink RM4 pro can work with 38KHz IR signal devices and 433MHz fixed code RF signal devices; Rolling code RF signal is not supported. And it could not work with Bluetooth remote control devices.

Only support 2.4GHz WiFi signal?

Yes, BroadLink can only support 2.4GHz WIFI. If your router is 5G or 2.4G/5G mixed, the RM4 pro may not be able to recognize the WIFI signal. But it can enable 5G signal after it is configured successfully. Mesh Network is not supported.

Can’t connect with WiFI?

First you need to turn off data traffic. and Please make sure that the WIFI name and passwords do not contain any special characters and the length does not exceed 32 characters.

Why is the RF frequency and network correct, and the device successfully learned, but cannot be used normally?

Beacuse your original remote maybe rolling code which for security protection. Our RM4 pro only supports 433MHz fixed code RF signal devices.

(Note: at present, Alexa hasn’t supported Humidity; Alexa and Google home haven’t supported humidity and temperature routines yet, you can set routines in the BroadLink App).
